Question: On the Raging Bull web site, a person who says he visited
the company last weekend reports being told that SGTN has set a firm
goal of going into the black this year. That is, they are hoping to
make the transition from burning cash to making money. First of all,
is this true? I asked a similar question on this board not long ago,
and was told that "we don't answer such questions, etc. etc." Then why
would someone who walked into the company on the weekend be told that
this was the company's plan--to pull back a bit on the R&D; spending so
as to get into the black? Lots of internet companies estimate when they
plan to go out of the red (although not their actual estimated earnings,
of course), presumably without legal problems. If it is true, why can't
the company tell us on this board what apparently they tell any schmuck
who walks into their offices?
